‘moon hits the mirrorball’ (2022) reflects Cheng’s connection to underground rave culture and Techno music. Sculptures made from metal, resin, glass, and found materials capture the balance between vulnerability and industrial force. Sound, played through speakers or a PA system, turns the space into a physical experience. The work mirrors Techno’s raw intimacy, blending emotion, rhythm, and memory into a shared sensory pulse.
